It’s true, The Norwegian Bliss cruise ship has an incredible two level race track on deck, where passengers will be able to compete against each other in electric go-karts on a 2 level course race track. I’ll also add that after the Norwegian Joy, this will be the longest race track at sea… Wow!
Before you think you’d hate to be sat relaxing at the pool with the noise of go karts racing zooming in the background, the vehicles run silently, so passengers can burn rubber without disturbing fellow travellers enjoying the peace at sea.

3 Interesting facts about the race track on the Norwegian Bliss
1.You Can Get Unlimited Rides For Your Whole Cruise
Whether you want to try the racing experience once, try an eight minute lap or have an unlimited weekly pass for your entire cruise on the Norwegian Bliss, then the options are there for you. The Norwegian Cruise Line offers cruisers the option to buy different grades of passes so that you can ride as many times as you want. The best bargain comes for the Unlimited Weekly pass, where you’ll even have access to a separate line, so you don’t have to queue.
2.The Racetracks Were Inspired By The CEO’s Grandchildren
When it came time to build Norwegian Bliss, the Norwegian Cruise Line’s CEO, Frank del Rio, asked his grandchildren for their ideas. According Franko to del Rio, "I just said, 'Why don't you come up with a list of ideas you'd like to see on the next cruise ship?' The next morning, they came up with the idea of a race track on board.” I think next time they should put down a Personal Travel Agent on the idea’s checklist.

3. You Can Drive Surprisingly Fast
The cars have four speed settings, for beginner, intermediate and advanced drivers that go up to 30 miles per hour, with a “turbo boost” on each lap for thrill seekers. With many track corners and every lap lasting around eight minutes, there’s plenty of time for a boost of acceleration on your cruise.
